Project Tracker – A Unique Project Tracking Tool

Project Tracker is a project tracking tool for the clients. By using it, clients
can online track the hours spent, work done, screeshots on daily, weekly or monthly
basis. Developers use this tool to log actual hours spent by them on individual
project. Whatever work is done by developers, this tool will upload the screenshots
with task details every 5-10 minutes on client portal. Clients can review the work
done by developers every day. It ensures that payments should be made according
to the hours spent only.

How it works?
|
|
There are two parts of the system.
|
|
1) Project Tracker Application - Installed on Development
Machines.
|
|
2) Project Tracker Website – Online web application
to track the project details.
|
|
|
Project Tracker Application – Desktop Version
|
|
Developer application is installed on each employee’s machine. When a project starts,
it will be assigned to individual/team. When a member will start work on project,
he/she will launch the application installed on computer. This application will
ask them to select the project and enter username/password. On successful login,
it will ask to enter the Task. After entering the task, application will start timer
and used to send the screenshots every 5-10 minutes on the server. If a member leaves
his/her sear, they have to pause the application and resume whenever they are back.
The pause time will not be added in the project hours. If a machine remains ideal
for 10 minutes, it will not be count in total project hours. Daily hours spent with
screenshots can be viewed under client login.

the project details.

|
Every client will be assigned with a username and password to access the online
project tracker website. Client will login to the system.
|
|
Client portal is having 3 sections
|
|
1) My Profile - Change personal details
|
|
2) My Projects – The projects assigned by client
will be listed. Select the project and click on View button. The detailed report
regarding hours will be displayed.

2) My Payments – This section will list payments
due and payments done every week.
|
